While we’ve been quiet, we’ve been working on something new and it’s finally time to fill you in.
Not long after Gosh Darn 8 we got news that the Five Star Retreat would be selling and we wouldn’t be able to host our event there again. While it was a let down because it’s been our home for 4 years of shenanigans, we knew it was a good time for a change.
Safety, Haley, and Dave all got together and starting scratching their heads about what was next. Collectively, we agreed on a new venue and a new name for the annual gathering.
We’re excited to invite you to the Pinewood Canoe and Camp for our ninth annual gravel gathering: the Gosh Darn Hoot ‘n’ Holler. The Hoot ‘n’ Holler will take place in Hickman County on April 3rd – 5th, 2026.
This iteration of the event will include many of the things that made previous iterations great:
- Post-ride meal, free tent camping, event t-shirt, resupply points on-route, pre and post-ride parties, and event swag included with every registration.
- 5 route options: 20, 30, 40, 70 and 100-mile routes.
- A whole weekend of fun that have you hootin’ and hollerin!
What’s new for the Hoot ‘n’ Holler:
- Venue: Pinewood Canoe & Camp, 2011 Cash Hollow Rd, Nunnelly, TN 37137
- RV Parking! We now have room for 4 sub-30ft RVs with electric hook-ups.
- Dogs are allowed! Bring your leashed, well-behaved four-legged companions.
- No onsite lodging – camping only!
- Chip timing and published results.
Registration opens at 12:01 AM CST on 1/1/2026.
The 20, 30, and 100 mile routes are capped at 50 participants each. The event is capped at 300 participants across all categories.
Registration to the 100, 70, and 40 mile ride is $150+fees and registration to the 30 and 20 mile rides is $130+fees. For the first 24 hours, all registrations will be discounted $30.
This years event is capped at 300 people – we had 330 at our last event.
